A paradigm shift in ultimate health and well being 

Impacts of easy living

One of today's challenges in front of us is to maintain correct weight of our physical body and our good health. Every one of us is facing over weight problem, having tire like muscles around hip, bigger bellies, and being obese. The ultimate reason for this phenomenon is change in our life style. We have changed our lifestyle from physically active to physically inactive by using all the technologies from vehicle we use to travel, to washing machine to clean our cloths.

We all started using technologies such as washing machine, mixer grinder, elevator, transport vehicles. Using those machines are making our life easier but they considerably have reduced our physical activities and internal metabolisms of body are affected in a negative ways. Sweating is not released properly because of lack of physical activities. Heartbeat and pumping of blood carrying nutrients, and wastes from cells are becoming less active. Hence the body is prone to have diseases.

Our energy levels are becoming low because of same lack of physical activities. You can notice the energy level is going up when we do some simple physical activities such as washing few cloths using our hands.

My observation is that even though inventions and technologies are changing our active life style, we are not disciplined in using those technologies, which leads to all kinds of diseases which also called life style diseases.

Integrating physical activities

The solution is to become physically active and eat correct amount of food to suite our body needs to function as per our current lifestyle of less energy requirements. All our activities are happening by just switching on and switching off. How much energy we need to switch on washing machine after loading our cloths? How much energy one needs in order to drive from one location to another location? Technologies and inventions have considerably reduced our needs of energy intake levels.

The solution I mentioned above needs discipline to become aware and being physically active and only eating what is necessary to function in optimum level. Reducing physical activities and eating more than what our body needs is root cause of all the diseases the people of the current world faces now.

Actually exercise such as walking, jogging, weight lifting, and yoga are recommended to increase the physical activities. Without discipline and order it’s impossible to keep continuing exercises in current fast paced lifestyle where everyone feel that they don't have time for themselves. So it’s better to integrate physical activities in our hour by hour activities in daily basis. 

Food portion control

Availability and affordability of delicious foods, and poor food choices is another set of causes that make more health problems. We eat more than enough food in each time we eat due to taste and quantity available. Excessive food consumption produces more energy and if the energy is not spent well in physical activities, it just sits idle inside the body. Excessive nutrients are converted and stored as fat inside body tissues. Hence the weights of individual who eat more than enough become uncontrollable. What is necessary is to have portion control in food throughout the life. Only eat what is needed by our body to function optimally. We need discipline to accomplish this. 

So, keeping our health and fitness in this fast paced world and easy lifestyle is to have discipline and order in physically active and portion control in our eating. If a person is not disciplined and controlling portion of food which is simple, then how can he/she maintain his physical exercise routines which needs more discipline?

I have observed people become more disciplined once they face health risk they are not aware but revealed by doctors. Once the doctor prescribed medicines and walking exercise because of the person's heart is at risk if he doesn't follow the doctor's prescriptions, people become more aware and disciplined out of risk and fear.

The health pledge

We need to have motto that prevention is better than cure and be always conscious about our eating correct portion and being physically active throughout the life.

Let us become aware about value of our health and make our world diseases free.
